On the effectiveness of legal expertise of criminal procedure legislation

The article analyzes the effectiveness of legal expertise criminal procedure legislation on example implementation norms governing seizure electronic media in cases. This issue is considered its development, from moment emergence these norms, their evolution and operation practice. Documents reflecting law-making process, as well materials judicial investigative practice related to production actions, during which are seized, examined. As a result study, conclusions drawn about discrepancy between content norm representations legislator actual practice, insufficient laws field proceedings.
